Partner Callout: Collaborate with Us!
We are searching for community partners in Clarington who work in floral design and weddings, creating arrangements from flowers and/or plants, for this two-day event!
About the Event
Join Clarington Library, Museums and Archives as a partner in the lead up to Valentine’s Day and wedding season! Showcase your talent by creating an arrangement that interprets museum artifacts through the medium of flowers or plants.
Donated partner arrangements will be displayed next to the artifact in our gallery at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre (62 Temperance St.) or Waverley Place heritage house (37 Silver St.) Partners are invited to promote their businesses through signs and materials available next to the displays.
As a two-day event, Heritage in Bloom will be accessible to the general public during the day, as well as during our two ticketed reception events on Friday, January 31, 6:30-7:30pm, and on Saturday, February 1, 2:30-3:30pm.
Partners will be able to select from a list of museum artifacts for their interpretive displays, or they can arrange to meet at the museum to see the artifact in-person. Partners will be responsible for arranging delivery of their displays and picking up materials and arrangements following the event. Partners will also be responsible for printing any signs or promotional materials that will be displayed. These details will be confirmed by museum staff when confirming the partnership.
