Light Therapy Lamps

Light Therapy Lamps imitate natural outdoor lighting and help to improve mood and overall sense of well-being to those affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and those negatively affected by the fall and winter months when days are shorter and there is a lack of natural sunshine, with less severe symptoms often referred to as “the winter blues”.

According to research, light therapy is considered a safe and effective treatment for a variety of conditions, including SAD. Side effects are rare and usually mild. There are no known long-term side effects of light therapy. Use of the lamps is at user’s own risk; it is recommended to speak with a healthcare provider before using light therapy lamps.

It is recommended that the lamps be used for 20-30 minutes at a time, set up on a desk at an arm’s length away from the user.
