You can use the Kobo eReader to download eBooks from CLMA’s catalogue, via the OverDrive collection. Settings can be customized for font style and size, contrast, and more.

A user guide is included in each kit to provide basic instructions for how to set up the Kobo and connect to OverDrive.

To use the Kobo, you will need a CLMA library card in good standing and access to a wireless network (to load materials at the library, home, or elsewhere). Once the materials have been downloaded, the Kobo may be used without access to WiFi.

You simply have to sign in with your own library card number to access OverDrive. You do not need to worry about signing into a Kobo account.

DO NOT sign out of the Kobo account. If you do, you will
need to bring the device into a library branch for staff to sign back
into the account.
