Inquiries and Research
The Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre is open for preliminary research assistance and/or self-directed tours of exhibits with no appointments required during regular operating hours.
Researchers are able to access local history texts from our reference resources with no appointment necessary.
Topic such as local businesses, organizations, buildings/homes, people, events can be key-word searched in our Digital Newspaper collection, online, from anywhere.
Genealogical information relating to families or individuals can be researched through Ancestry Library Edition using any in-branch computer at any one of the Library, Museums & Archives locations.
If you would like staff to further assist with a research inquiry, please complete and send the Research Request Form in advance, so staff can determine if there are any additional resources within our archival holdings.
